Sustainability Solutions Company Celebrates Major Milestone
2018 is off to a strong start for Close the Loop. This year the global sustainability solutions provider marks the 10th year of its U.S.-based operations and celebrates the achievement of diverting more than 66 thousand tons of materials away from U.S. landfills.
It takes expertise, creativity and unwavering commitment to be able to successfully divert materials away from landfill 100% of the time – and Close the Loop is committed to ‘Zero waste to Landfill.’
Close the Loop designs customized recovery processes for each customer. CtL ensures products are either returned to the original manufacturer for re-use, or ‘upcycled’. This involves recovering materials from the returned items and repurposing them to create a range of new, innovative products.
Based in Hebron, Kentucky, Close the Loop (CtL) provides a comprehensive set of services that help companies plan and execute corporate sustainability programs and product end-of-life programs. The company has a long track record of success that dates back to the company’s first operations in Australia in 2001. Here it started in the print and imaging sector working with Planet Ark and 15 of the largest printing companies in the world. Cartridges 4 Planet Ark return program is now Australia’s largest product and recovery program.
Since 2001, Close the Loop has expanded with strategic locations in Belgium and the USA that help create a seamless continuity of global logistics for regional and global companies alike. As more companies, even cities, are moving to a zero-waste policy, CtL is leading the way to create solutions to meet sustainability goals.
